How to participate in the program “1 year in Germany?”

Study
Students study in a German high school for 10 months, communicating with their peers from around the world. Organizersoftheprogramcoordinatethetrainingprocess.
Accommodation StudentslivewithGermanhostfamilies. Families provide food for the student and care for them for the duration of the program. Organizers of the program regularly supervise the situation in the family. Itispossibletochangefamilies.
Organizers
The organizers of the program are the social organization “German-Russian Exchange” in partnership with the German branch of the international organization AFS.
AFS – the largest community organization in the world that coordinates international exchange programs for high school students, who come from 52 countries in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa, and also Australia and New Zealand. AFS provides year- and semester-long programs for more than 10,000 participants annually.
Adaptation
The German-Russian Exchange and AFS help students adapt to life in a different country, conduct a variety of cultural programs, and inform parents about what is going on in the life of the student from the time they are in Germany.
