IKU – WORKCAMP SEASON 2009
Internationellt KulturUtbyte (IKU) is a youth peace organisation based in Sweden. IKU has been coordinating international voluntary service programmes and promoting youth participation locally in Sweden for over 30 years. IKU has focused on long-term voluntary service, but now wishes to explore and develop the field of international workcamps.
Last year IKU’s first workcamp was held at the Möllevångsfestivalen, a cultural peoples festival, to help the organisers prepare and run the festival. This year IKU and Möllevångsfestivalen will continue the fruitful cooperation and host a workcamp at the same festival.
