“German Week 2009”
06.04.2009 On the 20th of April we invite you to Café D (Moika Embankment 58, first floor), where an open photo exhibition, student research presentations, and a discussion on the topic: “We are not all the same!” – youth subculture as a style and way of life in Germany and Russia – will be held. The photo exhibition opens at 3:30p.m. Presentation of student research and discussion: 5:00-7:00p.m. On April 21st from 7:00 to 9:00p.m. in the club “Sochi” (Kazanskaya ulitsa 7) a discussion between representatives from the city program “Tolerance,” ethnic minorities, youth organizations, political movements and different participants on the topic “Tolerance as a way of life” will take place. April 23rd from 4:00 to 6:00p.m. – we invite you to the German-Russian Exchange (Ligovskii Prospekt 87, office 300) to take part in a panel discussion with experts from politics, businesses, non-profit organizations and the scientific sphere from Germany and Russia on the topic: “The climate change problem – presentation of the political, business and social contexts in Germany and Russia.” At the end of the debate, those who desire can go to the club “Sochi” (Kazanskaya Ulitsa 7, 7:00p.m.-midnight) for a youth “green” party whose motto is “Let’s acCLIMATE.” In the program: DJs, film screenings and recordings of initiatives by young people dealing with the environment and global warming, and “green rag”- the exchange of eco-gifts. The dress-code: wear green! On the 25th of April from 5:00-7:00p.m. in Café D (Moika embankment 58, first floor) a presentation of the school exchange program “Lets switch – families, schools, countries!” will be held. German and Russian students from the exchange, their host families and teachers will participate in the presentation. They will talk about their individual experiences in the exchange. At the end of the program, the game “The Exchange of All for All” waits for everyone! Entrance to all events is free. Language: Russian and German |
